Baseball Generations provided our kids with basic baseball fundamentals taught by professionals baseball players.
We took our academy kids on a field trip to CSUDH to see the campus and had a special tour with Kinesiology Dept. Chair Dr. Ernst.
4wrdProgress brings Dominic Smith to St. Lawrence of Brindisi School in Watts, California. Dominic came to speak to the kids, answered questions, took pictures, signed autographs, and played at recess with the kids.
Delta Sigma Theta sorority invited us to not only explain our professions, but also, to tell our stories to show the children that you can push through adversity and succeed in spite of your circumstances.
Improper Etiquette serve as academic coaches for our academy student athletes. They help them excel in the classroom, so they can excel on the court. Check out their website,liveimproper.com, and support their mission as we are extremely grateful for their partnership.
4wrdProgress has partnered with King’s Conscious to provide a platform and outlet to young men going through struggles. Men come together throughout the year and have table talk to help our young men deal with real life issues. We plan an annual conference where we get the young men together and empower them with workshops, speakers, and fun.
The Lakers Youth Foundation hosted an amazing basketball clinic for our Academy.
We took a group of kids to a Lakers game on Christmas and the kids got to go behind the scenes and received iPads on the court from the players. Our kids were also surprised to receive a pair of Adidas shoes after the game.
4wrdProgress was invited by Run to Remember LA to participate in their 10k. This was a great way to encourage and promote a healthy lifestyle to our youth.
4wrdProgress teamed up with the Marching Beauties Foundation and UnpluggedLA to serve Thanksgiving dinner to residents of the Triangle Christian Services Women and Children's Shelter. We provided a full program, live entertainment, games, and jumpers. We had plenty to share with any other community members in need of a meal.
Urban Demand is the clothing line of 4wrdProgress where we make clothing that promotes positive attitude, unity, and purpose. Website coming soon!
This training prepares the children physically and mentally for a 10k run. We also conducted youth skill development training for some of our youth who are looking for that extra push! All training services are FREE of charge to our 4wrdProgress Youth.
